Tax is always split proportionally, based on what each person actually ordered — this isn't something you can toggle, since tax is legally tied to what was purchased.
You choose: proportional (matches what each person ordered) or split evenly across everyone at the table. There's a toggle on each receipt.
Receipt scanning uses AI and isn't perfect, especially on blurry photos. There's currently no way to edit a merchant name, total, or item once it's scanned — if something looks off, delete the receipt and re-upload a clearer photo.
Use the Share button on a receipt — it generates a clean image of the breakdown you can send however you'd like (text, any payment app, etc).
Your receipts are only visible to your account — other users can't see or access them. That said, anyone can create an account, so avoid photographing receipts with sensitive info on them (e.g. a full card number).
